Grange Park Preparatory School is a small independent school for girls aged four to eleven.
Founded in 1924, the school is now a charitable trust located in The Chine, N21 and within a few minutes walk of Grange Park station.
At GPPS there is a warm community atmosphere where each child is known by every member of staff and recognised as an individual. In a family atmosphere such as this the children are happy and therefore flourish academically, musically, in sports and in performance arts. Before leaving GPPS every girl will have been given a responsible role at some level, instilling in them an ingrained confidence and preparing them for today’s challenges.
“Girls benefit from a caring, stimulating and nurturing environment encouraging them to become confident, independent learners achieving high academic standards”.
ISI Inspection Report June 2010
I have great pleasure in introducing myself as the Headteacher of GPPS. I took up the reins of headteacher in September
2011 having previously taught in the school for seven, very happy years. If you are
seeking a school with a warm community spirit and a strong parent/school partnership, and one which “encourages girls to become educational risk takers and to develop individual talents” (ISI Inspection Report June 2010), please contact the school office to arrange a visit.
